Skibbereen is a very central location for exploring the fantastic unspoilt
scenery of the Southwest Atlantic coastline of Ireland. West Cork is located in

Union Hall which has kayaking, sea-angling and whale and dolphin excursions are
only a ten minute drive. Rosscarbery and Clonakilty are further on and here you
can trace the footsteps of General Michael Collins and visit the beautiful sandy
beeches of Inchydoney. There are many safe and sandy beeches in West Cork. There
is Salmon and trout fishing in the Ilen River, which flows through the town of
Skibbereen.

magnificent settings of Bantry bay and Glengarriff golf courses with their
wonderful sea and mountain views. Further on you have Kenmare bay golf course
and to the east you have the world famous Old Head of Kinsale golf club.
